I never thought I would want to have my father live in memory care, but within a few weeks of moving in, he has become less agitated and anxious, and I am seeing glimmers of his humor and personality re-emerge. I know he is safe and well-cared for. The Vitalia staff astounds me with their kindness and compassion, and their genuine desire to know my father. Vitalia has a wide range of activities that are both physically and mentally therapeutic, and they have lots of social engagement opportunities for residents who have the capacity. This is a sad and scary phase of life and we are lucky to have the Vitalia team as part of our support system.”
