After 55 years of marriage, Judy Flick says she and her husband, Ken, have found a new family at the Vitalia Stow Memory Care Neighborhood in Stow, Ohio.
Ken, a Vietnam veteran, and his devoted wife, Judy, enjoy utilizing their long-term memories by looking at family photographs and engaging with the life stations set up around the Neighborhood. These moments bring meaning to this phase in their lives, even as they cope with the loss of Ken’s short-term memories. The Flick’s enjoy their beautiful new home together and love the atmosphere.
Memory Care Director Kaitlynn Holley commented, “Even if they have memory loss or are confused at times, they are still that same person they always were.”
